ACM Awards Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year nominees announced

The Academy of Country Music Awards list of nominees were completed Thursday with the announcement of song and songwriter or the year nominations. There were definitely some deserving stars and writers named. Song of the Year nominees nominations were done differently this year, picked by a panel of professional songwriters and then voted onto the final ballot by the Composer class of ACM’s membership

These nominees along with those previously named will be announced Sunday, April 3rd, at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS. Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will host the event at  MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
